Who we are

Community Wise, a community centre, is a focal point for the local community and a provider of community services. The aims of Community Wise are to

• Serve the community, especially women and young people,
• Encourage the family
• Value individuals, identifying and responding to their needs
• Promote community spirit

Community Wise works in partnership with Living Stones Church. Services are held every Sunday at 10.30 am.

Wise Buys

Community Wise has its own shop, with an excellent team of staff and volunteers. This shop generates significant income, while providing a valuable community service. It is a hub of life and the place to find a bargain.

There are many other activities which take place each week, parent and toddler groups, women's groups, Slimmers World, Scottish dancing, senior citizens coffee morning, quilters group, artists' workshop, events.

Room hire

The premises are available to the community for private hire at certain times.

Up to 2,000 people use the premises on a weekly basis.
